About

I am a self-taught artist from Calgary and Halifax, Canada. I started cartooning as a child in 1973 and painting in 1987. I've played with oil, acrylic and oil pastels. My first art sales and shows were in 1996. I've been a full time artist since 2003.

I paint primarily to entertain myself and others. I enjoy imagery that is stylish, playful and expressive. I spend most of my time painting a timeless muse; women. The girlfriends series has become my signature line over the years. There’s nothing in my work that is intentionally “deep” or confusing, which makes it accessible to everyone.
